Christmas Movies

December 19, 2005 · 1 comment

It's that time of year again. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is on NBC tonight. I have lost count of the number of times I have seen this movie. I laugh to the point of tears every time the cat gets zapped and the whole squirrel trying to get out of the house thing. Plus, the whole lighting scheme of the house shooting like a solar flare is just … fantastic.

I also like "A Christmas Story" featuring the kid wanting the Red Rider bee bee gun. And Elf will probably become another movie to watch each Christmas.

Of course there is A Wonderful Life, Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer and all that other holiday movie goodness.

What are your favorite "Christmas" time movies? Share your favorite scenes if so inclined.

LuCindy loves Nicholas Cage. “Raising Arizona” hooked me. “Family Man” was utterly endearing. “Matchstick Men” was a triumph of acting and a funny and sad and happy and bittersweet story. “National Treasure” was just plain fun (and had Sean Bean–Great Scott’s actor of choice–in it, as well).
Haven’t seen “Face Off”, though.
