Have you ever had one of those days? Kind of like the picture above…a battle of light and dark casting a pall over everything? Even so, you can see hope out there on the horizon?
Yeah I never have those days, life is just peachy. /end sarcasm
If you can't tell, I love this picture. I took it today out in the parking lot of where I live on the way to the gym. If you click on the picture there are a couple of other cool cloud pictures (one scary.) There is also another "only in Florida on January 13th picture" in the collection.
So…do you ever have one of those days? What do you do about it?

Oh, Randy, I live in those days, sometimes for weeks or even months at a time. What I’ve found that helps the most is to get quiet inside and look for the beauty in what seems like cloud and darkness. It isn’t the kind people most often think of, but finally I’m beginning to not just know with my head, but to grasp with my heart and deeper-knowing that “even the darkness is light to Him” and that since I’m His, it can be light for me, too, even if it isn’t the kind of light I think I need or want.
I hope that doesn’t sound too “slick” or glib. I mean it as grittily, pound-one’s-head-against-the asphalt real as possible.
