I also met Jeff Gannon. This guy was “outed” by gay activists for being a “gay” escort and whatnot. They claimed he was a hypocrite because of his conservative views as well as his visits to the White House as a blogger. I would link to the gay activists website who “broke” the news but it includes pictures and whatnot that just aren’t appropriate and not necessary. This is the first time I have met Jeff and he is a very courteous man. He is very passionate about his convictions too.
We also talked a little bit about Matt Sanchez, (click here to read my interview with him) who was also attacked for his past as a gay porn star. It’s amazing to me how awful the gay activist community can be toward people. I have never been a male escort nor a porn star but I know what it is like to live your life in a way that is acceptable to the gay activist community and then walk away from their blessing and watch it turn into cursing. You can leave everything you have in life to go in to the gay community but apparently it is blasphemy toward gay ideology to walk away from the gay identified community. To be sure, most people who identify as gay don’t feel this way. I have found most to be reasonable and civil. While they may disagree with me… they probably don’t care or have a “live and let live” approach. That’s what I mostly experience offline and sometimes online. But the activists who attacked Jeff and Matt … those are the one’s my comments here are a response to.
I didn’t expect this post to take this kind of a turn but … there it is. I am hoping to meet some more of my favorite bloggers tomorrow.
