Went On a Hike

From Nature, Weath…

Well…… it was more like a five mile walk. In the middle of suburbia…. but not really. The Wekiwa Trail literally runs through the suburbs but it is in the woods… but not. It’s hard to explain. It’s a nice open trail and not incredibly busy. I enjoyed the walk but I wore some cheap hiking shoes I hadn’t worn in years and I have two blisters. I didn’t know the trail was paved the whole way but … it was. I felt like I was wearing the footwear version of an SUV.

You know … SUV? Super-expensive Underutilized Vehicles? Hugeantic machines with tons of power and drive to tackle those horribly difficult sidestreets and interstates? That’s what my hiking shoes were like on this paved trail; not really necessary.

I enjoyed the walk though. I purposefully didn’t take my iPod. Just my camera for a photo safari. Click on the picture above to see some other outdoors pictures I have taken. I talked to God a bit too… that’s always good.

Love vacation.
