Who Am I Going to Cheer for in the Super Bowl?

::: roll eyes ::: Listen, I hate it when Tiger Woods can’t hit his foul shots, he cries too much.  So, if there is a way to figure this out … I think they should just split the Stanley Cup right down the middle so we can all be winners!  Doesn’t that sound GREAT!

Well, the Giants beat my ‘Boys and then they beat the Pack.  I think I want to root for them because they are NFC (right? :)) and they had the audacity to beat the ‘Boys and the Pack.  BUT, New England could have a “perfect” season and that would be … you know … historic.  Wouldn’t it be the height of OMG(osh)!!! to have a perfect season only to lose in the Superbowl?  So, I think I am actually going to cheer for both teams and pray it is an interesting game.

Plus, come on, the Superbowl Party without Dallas is simply all about the hot queso for me anyway.

So, help me decide… who should I cheer for and why?  Who are you cheering for and why?

Usually, I cheer for the NFC.
But this year, I really like the Patriots. (And they also beat your Cowboys, if you remember)

Being an Eagles fan, I tend to cheer against any of the NFCEast, (Dallas, New [Jersey], and Washington). (And if people recall, the Patriots beat my Eagles in the SuperBowl several years ago)

Now here is yet another layer of complexity into the Jeremy-Gilby-dot-com Football Analysis:
Tom Brady, the Patriots Quarterback went to the University of Michigan (The Gilby Family Alma Mater)
Teddy Bruschi, the Patriots Middle Linebacker went to the University of Arizona (The home of Jeremy-Gilby-dot-com.)

Or you can just watch a good football game. In those cases, I like cheering for both defenses.

But do enjoy it. I will be cheering the Patriots.

::: grrrr ::: yes I know that they also beat the Cowboys.

BUT I didn’t know all that other vital information. Thank you for letting me know so I can make a fully informed decision on who to cheer for :).

As a true Saints fan, I always root for the underdog. You never get more underdog than the Saints who have never been to the Super Bowl. However, Archie Manning “a Christian” whose jersey(8) has been retired, has never been to the Super Bowl, but both of his sons have. So I am sticking with the Manning family. Go Eli and the Giants!!! Should be a good game. (if my wife lets me watch…)hahaha (Bev’s typing…)
