I. The Fruit of Fear
A. Fear paralyzes potential.
John 20:19 - “…the disciples…were together with the doors locked for fear of Jewish authorities.”
B. Fear ruins relationships.
Genesis 3:10 (Adam) - “I was afraid and hid from you.”
C. Fear hinders happiness.
Proverbs 12:25 (GN) - “Worry can rob you of happiness.”‘ Psalm 55:2 (GN) - “I am worn out by my worries.”
D. Fear sabotages success.
Job 3:25 - “Everything I fear and dread comes true.”
II. Freedom From Fear
A. Truth
John 8:32 - “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”
B. Love
1 John 4:18 (GN) - “Love contains no fear; indeed fully developed love expels every particle of fear, for fear always contains some of the torture of feeling guilt.”
1. Receive God’s love - you.
2. Give love to others.
C. Faith
Ephesians 6:16 - “Above all be sure to take faith as your shiled, for it can quench every burning missile the enemy hurls at you.”
Satan operates in fear. The Holy Spirit operates in faith.
