On My Way to Asheville North Carolina

Tomorrow, early but not eeeeaaaarrrrrllly morning, I am headed to Asheville NC for the Exodus Freedom Conference.

So exciting! I love the conference.

I couldn’t say the same thing the day before I went to my first Exodus conference in 1995. “Freaked Out” was the operative saying at that moment 13 years ago. I was totally trippin’ because I was not at all sure what I was getting into.

It took a good couple of days for my nerves to settle down but the event changed my life. It was in 1995, at the conference in Point Loma San Diego, that I knew God was calling me into this type of ministry. By that time my heart had changed but I remember early early in my journey that I had ZERO desire to be affiliated with this type of ministry.

Man … things sure do change.

But some things don’t change… the incredible worship, the fantastic speakers, interesting workshops and great fellowship. That’s why I love this conference.

Now, I and a few others will be “live blogging” from the conference. I will have a list of bloggers participating at some point. However, my part in it starts with this post :). You can also follow my miscellaneous random 140 characters at a time observations via Twitter. You can follow me directly through Twitter or see the status updates here in the upper left corner of this blog OR the Facebook Status updates (I have mine synced with Twitter.) AND if I get really industrious I will add Flickr photos as I go.

Ok… for those of the praying kind… please pray for safe travels for the whole Exodus crew, Speakers and those attending (almost at 700 already ) Thank you!
