Tropical Storm Fay – The Aftermath Video

August 22, 2008 · 24 comments

When I heard the Cicadas singing and the birds chirping I knew something had changed. So, I grabbed my camera and headed outside. This video is actually a fun one because my neighbors make an appearance :) .

YAY!! I'm so glad that the sun has finally returned. Wouldn't you agree that one of the best feelings ever is the warm sunshine hitting your face after days and days of rain? I'll bet the temperature is VERY nice also. Those twigs and leaves all over the place really told the story!

Yes, the sun feels *great* today. But, it just started raining again (after squalls.)

Glad you liked the carpet of twigs. I wish I could have gotten a birds eye view because the little flood in the video has actually got to be pretty big.

I love the hat. Looks like a good beach/fishing hat to me. :) Your blog is more entertaining than television!… and the 'Randy-Cams' are great. I went to view all of your other mini-features… I loved “Flu 2008″ the music was great, and The Reluctant Workout …very creative. I went with Erika to Michaels [so she could get some last minute supplies for her classroom] last night and I ended spending a lot of $$$$ on new art supplies. We'll see what happens.

It's definitely a beach and kayaking hat. I'll leave the fishing to you. I am glad you like my blog and “Randy-Cam.”

Good for you on the art supplies … now get them making something :) .

That was fun! But I'm glad to be in sunny (well, today anyway) Oregon.

“By the way…this is my favorite hat.” And Ellie is laughing again. Luckily there are no professors around to give her strange looks.
