I don’t want to hear about Palin being a speaking in tongues demon hunter with a gun license. I don’t want to see some horribly vindictive photographer who thinks its cool to trick McCain into a shot that casts him in a bad light so she could photoshop him with bloodthirsty fangs. I don’t really care what the deep brain trust triad of Lindsey Lohan, Chevy Chase or Matt Damon think. I don’t want to watch Bill O’Reilly with his arched eyebrows say “O COME ON …” I don’t want to listen to Glenn Beck telling me to buy two years worth of non-perishable food stuffs and yell on and on and on about stupid Economic bailouts.
I know they are stupid … stop yelling at me about it. OH and when the bombs go off you can be a part of my tribe but please … stock up on anti-depressants or something.
John Stewart’s juvenile prankster humor fails to entertain. Colbert is kinda’ funny and I feel guilty for thinking so ::: kinda’ :::
The screaming neenie dialog of, “I’m about Change, ” NOOOO I’m about CHANGE!” “Nuh UH… I’M about change” “Oh no you’re not … I’M about CHANGE!” is just the remix of ‘06, ‘04, ‘02, ‘00, ‘98, ‘96 … We have been changing every election cycle and yet somehow it’s all still the same promises and little substance. Would someone please “change” the script?
I am tired of pigs with lipstick, pundits with verbal pogo sticks bouncing all over the place but not really going anywhere. I don’t want to hear Michelle Obama being accused of being an America hater. I am tired of the cartoons and activists using the Palin Barbie Doll as a VooDoo doll substitute.
She’s the worst thing since 9/11? … are you serious? Have you been hanging out with Lindsey, Chevy and Matt or what?
I am tired of accusations of (but not doing anything about) racism, sexism, ageism. Not really interested in MadonnaKabbalah-isms, neo-everythingism and who looks like who on the dollar bill’ism. I am tuning out screaming preachers barking orders to God to damn America and will only shake my head at Whoopi and “The View” hoopla.
But that SNL Skit was pretty dang funny huh?
And in the end, my own hypocrisy on this angst vs. rapt attention is revealed in the fact that even though I refused to watch or listen for about 36 hours now, I still know about every single one of these instances and more. Can you relate?
I wonder what Rush Limbaugh and Laura Ingraham think? ::: grin :::
