Break out your gratitude guns and start firing!

I am grateful to be getting over this cold … finally.
Grateful for cough drops
Grateful that cough drops don’t actually explode, like a twitter friend suggested, when you accidently swallow one whole.
Grateful to live in Florida where the weather is absolutely gorgeous lately
Grateful for Apple products: Rufus - my work laptop, Brutus - my home iMac and Big Brother - my iPhone
Grateful for this blog and *you*… yes … even those of you praying for my destruction.
Grateful for my home … its really pretty groovy.
Grateful for the dog I am probably going to get … soon (any suggestions? I am thinking Yorkie/Pom mix named Edith)
Grateful for living in the GREAT UNITED STATES! … woot.
AND today I am a grateful for a loving God who sees all my mess and loves me anyway.

Alright warriors, get to grateful! Come up with at least five to stay in the battle and 10 to totally win in today’s onslaught. And if you absolutely must … strike a sassy pose.

1. I'm beyond grateful for GRACE ... no kidding.
2. Grateful for a job that challenges and stretches me.
3. Grateful my son moved out of the house! ;D
4. Grateful I'm not in charge.
5. Grateful to have an answer for health issues ... and a plan to fix them!
6. Grateful for friends, those I've met and those I'll meet in heaven, for the blessings they are in my life.
7. Grateful I'm not allergic to corn...because Fritos are my friends, too!! heehee
8. Grateful refraining from foods to which I'm allergic eliminated almost all of my cravings.

It's a terrier. kind of cute, if you like toys. I'd go with a standard poodle, if you can get away with a big dog in your apartment. But I'd also suggest adopting from the pound, unless breed is of utmost importance to you.

I have a condo and I can have a relatively large dog. Breed isn't a big deal to me. Something easy on my allergies, smart and small. I am not into those freaky looking poodles (puff balls stuck everywhere) though.

You don't have to keep their coat in a show clip if you don't want. You can shave it all down if you want, and then let it grow in evenly and get it cut back off every month or so (that is the downfall of having a poodle, grooming. But you can also learn to do the grooming yourself). The reason they have long fur is that it acts as a natural wet suit. It gathers up water and heats it up to keep them warm when they are diving into ponds to collect birds.

Silkies are like Yorkies, only a little bigger, sturdier. Very personable.

And no, it's good my son moved out...he's 24, will be 25 in March! It's time, and I'm happy for him.

I used to have a Brittany Spaniel... not too large a dog, but not a punter, either. Very obedient and very loyal...

1. Grateful to have had lunch w/a Pastor Friend.
2. Grateful we're having a worship/ communion service for men only tonight!
3. Grateful that the Bible doesn't change even when I want it to.
4. Grateful to live in a country that provides the right to be wrong.
5. Grateful for Indian Summer (it's been overcast and drizzly through the warmness up here).
