New Art - Discovery
I think I want to call this one “Discovery.” As I neared the end of it it felt like the moment an archaeologist uses one of those little brushes to uncover the last line of some sort of find. The initial inspiration for it was also a married couple and I think “Discovery” still makes perfect sense (to me at least.) This is a photo, not a scan, so please forgive the shadow in the lower left. I also my still go through and add some more of the “finer” details :).

Divine Appointment at Starbucks - Christians Galore

Hey, umm… I think I am supposed to talk to you.
That’s what Harry said at Starbucks this afternoon. We actually had a conversation before he said that. He walked by as I was drawing on the project pictured in this post. He stopped and said that he really liked what I was drawing and gave me some of his ideas of how to interpret it.
Then we talked about how you could almost make out his name in some of the squiggly lines down the middle of the circles. I said, “Yeah, in kind of an old Def Leppard kind of way maybe.” Then he asked some basic questions about who I was and where I was from. Small talk and then he shook my hand and said, “Good job. Have a good day.” I said ok.
Then, I saw him walk by behind me one more time toward the parking lot.

New Art - WaterRise
I am just playing around with some new pens I have. It is India Ink on Bristol Board. After doing two of these I have to say that while I like them, I will probably mix them with other pens or pencil to punch them up color wise. I am thinking this type of ink will probably do better at layering and mixing though. I have to play around with it.

New Art - Basic Vantage Point
Basic Vantage Point - All Pantone Pens on Bristol Board - I tried some new stuff in this one. Can you tell which feature is not my usual and driving me a little crazy? Also, there are over 23 colors in this one.
