Couch Potato Blogging

Reason #4,782 for why I love my iPhone (affectionately named Big Brother or BB). I want to blog but I don’t want to get off my couch to go fire up Brutus (my iMac.)

Not only can I blog with BB … I can blog with pictures!

I actually have a couple of VERY good blog posts on the horizon but tonight is all about rest.

Couch Potato Blogging is pretty cool in my book.

Comment Box at TOP of Thread?

Blog housekeeping question. I have temporarily moved the input box at the top of the comments thread for new comments. My thoughts are that this my help people to hit reply when they are responding to other comments. My fear is that it will stop people from browsing through the other comments … or is that really a non issue.

Lemme know.

Glenda, one of my favorite FaceBook Friends forever decided to have fun with a few friends, and my own, pictures. Enjoy! By the way… Laura Leigh and I totally took Mensley, Susan and Curtis to school on this. Laura Leigh’s aim is spectacular.

Oh Go Tell It To a Therapist

I don’t know exactly why but this week I am very not interested in cable news and pundits of any type. Maybe it’s the delayed traumatic aftermath of the election and Post Prop 8 mess. Or maybe it’s the MSM’s (MainStream Media’s) apparent constant need to complain about everything … alllllll the time. It never ever stops. I know there is a lot to be concerned about but the echo chamber has worn me down.

Normally I like the thoughtful critique on important issues. Right about now I wish I had the authority to send them all anti-depressants for Christmas.

I go through this about once a quarter. Give me a week :).

My Excellent Fun Adventure Through Jury Duty

Today I had jury duty. I had to sit in a room with about 200 people from 8 am till around 2:30 pm. We did break for lunch so that was nice. I think the best part of the deal was hanging out with Photo Chick. She did my publicity pictures and it was great seeing her again. (more after the jump.)

Well, it is the day after Thanksgiving and time to harassing people kick off the Christmas season! Usually I am all about trying to go out in the midst of the teeming masses to shop on Black Friday but … this year? I kind of just want to chill out at home. Yeah, just play around online and perhaps put up my Christmas tree tonight.

On the blog, I hope you like the new round of rotating pictures and the green background. I might play around with some more Christmas blog decorating.

OH and don’t forget to visit my art store (I will add more stuff soon) and my little amazon.com bookstore (I will add more stuff there as well. Recommendations will be considered.)

Hey, umm… I think I am supposed to talk to you.

That’s what Harry said at Starbucks this afternoon. We actually had a conversation before he said that. He walked by as I was drawing on the project pictured in this post. He stopped and said that he really liked what I was drawing and gave me some of his ideas of how to interpret it.

Then we talked about how you could almost make out his name in some of the squiggly lines down the middle of the circles. I said, “Yeah, in kind of an old Def Leppard kind of way maybe.” Then he asked some basic questions about who I was and where I was from. Small talk and then he shook my hand and said, “Good job. Have a good day.” I said ok.

Then, I saw him walk by behind me one more time toward the parking lot.

I started this in church today and finished it at Starbucks later. I like these little 6 x 6 drawings. I can finish them in a day :). The first word that came to mind when thinking of a name was “Corpuscle.” I know… further proof that I am weird.

What a GREAT idea :)! I liked all the reactions but the blond lady, near the end, was very cute laughing her head off while her husband looked more than a little confused.

by the way, I will get back to serious blogging soon :). It’s been a crazy week.
